Finished Lincoln Lawyer the other night. Love that show. Looking forward to next season already.

Watched the first episode of Dark Winds the other night. Great start to this season.

I still have to get around to starting the final season of Jack Ryan but I don't want that one to end.

I have read the series by Michael Connelly and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo does an awesome job as Mickey Haller. Much better in my opinion than Matthew McConaughey in the Lincoln Lawyer movie.
Second season is as good as the first.

I’m sure you will really enjoy season 4 of Jack Ryan. Best of the Jack Ryan series. John Krasinski the leading actor of few words.

Just watched “Fishes” and then “Forks”. Probably the best back to back episodes of a series I’ve ever seen. The Bear doesn’t disappoint . Wow.

Just watched the Blaco steroid Untold Stories doc on Netflix. Worth the watch, nothing amazing though.

Swamp Kings is out on August 22nd. It's about the Florida Gators football team with Tim Tebow and Aaron Hernandez, Urban Myer and what not. That should be a good one.

So my 2 months of HBO Max runs out today. We've watched Station 11, The Last of Us, all the seasons of Righteous Gemstones, and both seasons of White Lotus. Does any channel come close to making as high quality of shows as HBO? We greatly enjoyed all of them. Up next is season 4 of Jack Ryan, Lincoln Lawyer. and The Bear. Need to find a couple more to get me to the start of the hockey season.

Does any channel come close to making as high quality of shows as HBO?

No. HBO is a good ride. Wife & I watched all those shows you list - great set.
Apple+ is good for about 3months worth of shows - but the content is a tier below HBO.

[If you've still got one more day of HBO - you might binge watch Telemarketers - it gets an 82 on ten critics reviews - that's good... just released Sunday, three part mini-series.]

Watched the first five episodes of Special Ops: Lioness the past couple days and I am really loving this show. It's on Paramount +. Another Taylor Sheridan creation, also written by him.

Watched Ep1 of Swamp Kings, it's going to be a solid show.

I just read a few comments on insta...They don't really touch on Aaron Hernandez, the illegal acts off field, and they barely address the mental abuse Urban did to push players in practice...So I'll def be disappointed as that's what I wanted to know about.

Binged Only Murders in the Building on Disney+ to get caught up for the 3rd season. Really fun show. Martin Short and Steve Martin still have it, and Selena Gomez rounds out the main characters surprisingly well. It's got that Clue vibe, a zany but endearing murder mystery. It also does what the best comedies do and fleshes out the whacky side characters over time. At 30 minutes an episode and 10 episodes a season it's not a burdensome watch.

The first two episodes of season 3 are out, and the next two drop tonight. The next few weeks would be a good time to get caught up if you're like me and had been sleeping on this one.

The wife and I just finished Season 1 of this last night. We enjoyed it. It was a tad slow at times but we stuck with it and glad we did. Moving on to season 2 tonight.

Looks like you'll be timing this to roll right into season 3. I've been giving some other shows some time waiting for more of season 3 to have rolled out. I definitely think this show lends itself to the binge model.

I'm excited for this just because I've heard they had hundreds of hours of behind the scenes footage to mine. Of course, part of gaining access for these documentaries means a kid gloves approach on certain topics or it can be hard to get the key characters to buy in. There's no way Urban is agreeing to this if it isn't stroking his ego. But there should still be some good stuff in there about the abuse. I mean, Ep 1, they talk about *SPOILERS* how he had his superstars and his shit and how they had two different foods for those two camps, which is messed up. I'm already in awe looking at some of the footage from their midnight workouts.

Apparently they had to agree to steer away from Aaron Hernandez to get a lot of the players to buy in, which makes sense, otherwise it could totally consume the doc. Plus there are already two other series focusing directly on Hernandez on Netflix.
