Just watched the First LOTR episode on Prime. So far so good. Their massive investment in the show definitely shows in the special effects.

What a golden age for TV right now... House of the Dragon, Rings of Power, Better Call Saul, Stranger Things, The Boys, list goes on and on...

I am loving House of the Dragon... it is every bit as good as GOT. Possibly even better.

LOTR on the other hand... that one's a slow burn... to put it nicely lol. I do know they have the entire series mapped out across seasons, so I can understand if they want to take their time to build up the characters and the world environment since they're not under the season-to-season renewal pressure like some other shows. But man, is it slow!

I watched the first episode of LOTR show...wow. It's slow haha. You can tell the production value and that's the thing that kept me engaged while watching, but omg the show right now is so typical LOTR it hurts lol.

I'll likely not be able to watch the whole thing. I think I'll need to watch YouTube videos on explaining what has happened haha.

Started watching Clark on Netflix the other night. Four episodes in and it's not too bad. Kinda crazy weird but I like it. If you've ever heard the term Stockholm Syndrome, this comes from this show but the show is much more than just than one incident.

Huge LOTR fan but slept through 3/4 of the first episode. Had to rewatch lol. HOTD however is pretty great. Love how it’s showing the rifts between the family already. You know it’s good when you find yourself saying “it’s over already?”.

I am a huge LOTR fan as well and am going to give this series every change imaginable. The 1st show dragged some and I found myself somewhat not as focused as I thought I would be. I am sticking with it though.

The Dahmer thing has been the only murder involved show I can't watch more than 1 episode a day. Not because it's bad, because it throws my anxiety through the roof.

watching 5 today as i didnt have time since Friday, i watched every episode so far as soon as it came out. I just finished reading Hobbit and LotR for i think 5th time about 2 weeks ago. Ill be watching both series after all 8 episodes as well..this never gets old...
