Finally got into Euphoria. Definitely a difficult watch but I'm enjoying most of it.

The cinematography is the best part of the show. The acting is really good, the plots are alright and outrageous, but the shots and ideas the directing team took make the show. The soundtrack is pretty freaking good too.

Has anyone watched The Lincoln Lawyer?

Is it a good show to watch?

The series is excellent. Written by Michael Connelly who also authors the Bosch series.
I wasn’t a fan of Matthew McConaughey as Mickey Hiller in the Lincoln Lawyer movie. He wouldn’t have been my choice after reading the book series.
I can see the Lincoln Lawyer series continuing. There are further books in the series. Excellent cast.
Whereas Titus Welliver is an excellent Harry Bosch.
Bosch series 1-7 are extremely well done. They do a great job following the book series.
Bosch: Legacy, doesn’t disappoint. Bosch as a private investigator not bound to the law by a badge. Honey Chandler as well as Harry’s daughter Maddie are more involved in the story line. 10 episodes. Will be watching episode 10 tonight.

Yep exactly. It's more or less a graphic high school soap opera but the cinematography and acting put it over the top.

From a business model standpoint it makes more sense to release weekly, or like 2 a week. There's been studies based on enjoyment and has proven people who don't watch a whole season all at once have more enjoyment and remember more details.

But ya, the weekly release is def not how the traditional "streaming service" was originally modelled. But that could be one of the reason why Netflix is failing while others are thriving.

How you watch a series can definitely affect how you view the show or the season overall. I remember watching The Walking Dead season 2 when they were at the farm for pretty much the entire season. My wife and I watched the entire season over the course of a week on Netflix and we absolutely loved it. I remember so many people complaining how slow and drawn out the season was but that was because they were watching one episode a week over 2+ months. It never felt like that to us since we were watching 2-3 episodes at a time and finished it in a week.

Overall, I have gotten the most out of a series when I watch one episode at a time and either read online recaps or listen to a podcast about the episode. But GoT was the last series I have done that with.

There's still 2 more movie length episodes to cap off season 4 that will be released in the summer and then a season 5 afterwards which I'm pretty sure was announced as the final season.


I watched some of the new 'the Boys' season last night and my wife walked in and when asked I described it a a "crude superhero show." About a minute later a character called "Termite" shrunk down and... well, you've seen it or you haven't. Long story short, my wife is not interested in watching the rest.

I wasn't sure if I was getting season 4: Part 2 confused with a season 5 but according to this article there will be a season 5 to wrap up the show

I couldnt agree more with this statement. I also found Season 2 hard to follow so I haven't jumped into Season 3. I think I'd almost have to re-watch Season 2 before tackling Season 3.
