Well that, but mainly that we know the outcome of most of the major characters. And while they have done a good job developing Kim and Nacho, their lack of mention in BB likely means one thing....

Glad Better Call Saul is back.... But anyone who says it's better than Breaking Bad has lost their marbles.

They are just totally different shows, which is amazing given they are related.
I happen to like the slowburn nature of the scheming in the episodes, whether its Mike or Saul or Kim planning a move or long-con I think the writing is brilliant.
Also, prequels are hard to write because the distant future is known so how you fill in the immediate future needs to be interesting enough even though the outcome is known.

I think the Saul-Kim relationship is the perfect example of this. We know that Kim does not appear in Breaking Bad, and we see her being a main character in Better Call Saul where Kim and Saul have a complicated but close relationship so what happens?
Do they split up? Does she meet some grizzly end? the anticipation of what happens to Kim is going to be a bit part of the final season I imagine.
Also, the idea that parts of the show are after breaking bad is interesting. We should get a look into Saul's post BB future by the end of this series as well.

Ozark Season 4 Part 2...

Felt like it ended abruptly. I wasn't a huge fan of how it turned out. Season 4 seemed too convoluted as a whole and I get that they were cancelled (or not extended) and needed to almost write an ending that they weren't prepared for.

Also kinda felt like they left it open enough where if another studio wanted to jump on it, they at least left it open enough. Spoiler below, highlight it if you want to see:
I hated how Ruth was killed off. I felt like they highlighted the couch outside enough where the death should have been on the couch. She could have been shot, then stumbled to the coach and died there seeing her family around her. Just felt so..."oh wow...that's how she dies". I also felt like keeping the Byrdes alive over Ruth is a nice change for the typical narrative. Byrdes were the bad guys, but have gotten away with it because they are smart and manipulate people regardless of relationship. Ruth didn't get away with it because she was loyal to her family and the Ozarks (Could have left under a new name).

I liked the show, but season 1 was by far the best.

Heard that a Stallone tv series is in production and will be released this fall. It’s called Tulsa King. Mafia driven drama where his character comes out of prison and is assigned to Tulsa OK. Should be interesting.

Ozark Season 4 Part 2...

Haven't finished part 2 so didn't read the rest of your post but the endings are always a let down when these shows get abruptly cut... what a shame.

Been watching Moon Knight on Disney... the show is getting weird AF but i can't stop watching.

The good thing is it got cancelled prior to season 4's release. So its at least filmed knowing that season 4 was the last one. Netflix has been going around cancelling a ton of well received shows because it almost seems like they rather get 15 mediocre shows made and hope 1 hits, than to pay people the higher wages of a well received show getting extended.

I hate when Netflix cancels a show you are hooked on before it can finish telling the story it is telling. It is the exact opposite of networks shows, which drag on forever and goo to shit.
I have read a few pieces about how the Netflix business model is the opposite of the network business model.
Network's did and do spend big money trying to create or land a hit show, and when they land a hit they get big time add revenue every week it is on so they drag out shows as long as possible for the sake of more episodes
However Netflix has found that NEW shows create buzz and draw in subscribers, and once a new subscriber is subscribed they stay subscribed longer. So Netflix is all about the NEW show, and even established shows that have great viewer numbers do not generate revenue for Netflix like they would on network TV.

Anyways, its interesting how "this show drags on too long" has become "they did not let the show go on" due to business models.
