I need a new show...

Me and the missus just finished the first season of Tehran. Pretty good show about Israeli/Muslim conflict. The story is based in Iran. I like how they dont really promote one side or the other as the "good guys". Its a blurred line, which some might find difficult, but for me it makes the story they are telling better for it. I'll give it a 7.5/10. Enjoyable.

Enjoyed it as well, wonder when S2 comes out.

Just finished the first season of The Wheel of Time. Honestly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I found it a complete slog. No doubt the acting is great and visuals amazing. The writing was disjointed, reveals seemed forced and poorly developed. Dialog was junior high school and absurd at times. I literally had to force myself through it as I found it borderline unwatchable at times. Being generous, I give Season 1 a 4 out of 10...

I did really enjoy Hawkeye though. It is good popcorn material and cleverly written, although you can't take it too seriously. Hailee Steinfeld brings a lot of character to a fairly bland superhero, and I will be pleased if she takes over as the the Hawkeye lead. Also loved that Florence Pugh continued as Yelena. Overall, Hawkeye Season 1 gets a 8 out of 10 for me.

Just finished S1 of sharp objects. Enjoyed it, started off strong but it's a slow burn. Ending was crazy. Plus love the fact they play a good amount of Zeppelin. Amy Adams was great in it.

I felt as though the ending seemed rushed considering the amount of time spent in earlier episodes driving around town aimlessly drinking vodka

Watched Q: Into the Storm over the holidays. It's the 6-part HBO documentary series looking into who Q might have been, the movement's big players, its social impact and ultimately its part in the storming of the Capitol. I found it fascinating.
