Started watching Rectify a couple weeks ago now I can’t stop. Gets off a bit slow but the storyline kept me hooked for some reason. Give it a go.

I watched this based on your recommendation. I've got one episode left. Not a bad show. Not great, but not bad. I'd describe it as a quirky mystery/drama/comedy/action mashup. It doesn't commit to any one genre but has elements of them all. It's only 6 episodes long and feels like a 6-hour movie.

Damnation 7 episodes in.... a solid 9/10. It just gets better and better.

“The Undoing”. Awesome Crime drama! Only six episodes but watched it all in one sitting, it’s so good! 9/10...and is it just me or Nicole Kidman hasn’t aged in 30 years? Haha
On the other side of a spectrum, Fargo season 4...what a major letdown. I mean it’s watchable but nowhere near the first three seasons, 5/10
Yeah I don't think I'd be watching it if it was being released on TV once a week. But it's being dumped a few episodes at a time each week.
I wish they would say how many episodes it is in total because going into each "final episode" I kept thinking, "man they have a lot to tie up" but the episode would end and nothing was tied up yet. I'm guessing it's a 10 episode series? It's described online as a mini-series, but I'm 6eps in and 2 more drop Thursday and I don't know how you tie it up in 2 episodes. The good thing is it's based off a book so there is definitely a road map for them to go off of at least.

Enjoyed the Undoing so far as well. 4 eps in and 2 to go. I may have predicted the ending after episode 2 but we will see. And yes Nicole Kidman is a babe. Crazy to think she was in Batman Forever and she pretty much looks the same.
I loved Fargo this year, but I have heard multiple people with similar takes to your's so maybe I'm on the outside.
The last 2 recent episodes of Mandalorian is must see TV. Star Wars fans haven't been this giddy in years
I only just realized this myself yesterday. I thought it was a 6-episode mini-series and that I only had one episode left. I just found out that they release two episodes (I think) at a time? I don't know how many total episodes there will be. I probably wouldn't have starting watching it if I thought it was more than 6 episodes!

Will check out The Undoing - Kidman is a fox and a great actress. One of my absolute favourites.
Started 12 Monkeys - i cant imagine what people who saw it when it was released thought when Corona happened. Crazy stuff to have in your head when a real pandemic strikes.
Almost finished re-watching Lexx. Loved it when it came out, much better watch now, in order. Thanks internet!
I also inject one MotoGP/2/3 race in my veins every day. Starting with 2013 and will eventually catch up to 2019 when I first got hooked. Best sport ever, sorry hockey.
I had no idea I was watching the season finale of the Undoing ; was anticipating a 10 -12 part series .Maybe they planned for more but covid got in the way of production . I recall the series being promoted as far back as feb-march 2020 so thats possible .
yeah the most recent Fargo didnt have much of a Fargo feel to it . Jesse Buckly who played the crazy nurse helped with that vibe and I loved Savatore Esposito's character . I hope you waited through the credits in the finale so see the reveal .
Wife and I are into Season 4 of Big Mouth (animated) on Netflix.
Usually... usually... I find that the reviews on this thread are bang on with what we will enjoy.
But... I will say... I can't say that's reciprocal... I don't think animation about pre-pub/pubescent kids is for everybody.
That said - some of the language and one-liners are pretty filthy.
My wife and I watch it with some... drinks... in our system - and we find it knock-out hilarious.
Metacritic 4reviews has it with a score of 88 - which is pretty effin high*, pun intended.
Some of you - IF you like animation - might like this.
Even better if you spend a few hours pre-watching comedy/stand-up with cast members like Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, and Jenny Slate.
The hormone monster (Kroll) and Lola (also Kroll) just make me lose my shit.
For those that don't know the name Nick Kroll - a lot of people know him from "The League" as Rodney Ruxin, wearing the "A" in photo below.
Alright..... What an amazing ending to Mando
