I loved the show You. I like how the actor who plays Joe is calling out people who think his character is attractive.
The character of Beck kinda annoyed me, too much wanna be hipster, but too much "oh I'm actually into things everyone is into". But I think you're meant to not like Beck.
It would be interesting to hear a bit of a professional analysis of the camera shots, angles and what not. It seemed very purposeful the solo shots on people's faces, the slight tilt of the camera, the special "lenses" that were done. People were filmed in like a "portrait" mode often, and I'd like to understand why.
Again, Beck...so cringy sometimes.

You is pretty solid. The guy actor is excellent, the girl is a ditz, but fits the part.
Wife & I watched that on Lifetime streaming in December.
Netflix bought the rights and started streaming it in January.
The book is actually a really solid read (better than the show)... for any that want one.
If somebody has time to plan... reading the book before the show is great.
Good show to watch with the wife/gf.
Metacritic: 74
*Excited to see a future 2nd season of this show!!!
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is FANTASTIC. Season2 is even better than Season1, IMO.
Also another gem to watch with the wife/gf... unless your sig-other is squeaky-clean and doesn't swear.
They start to develop some of the secondary characters in S2 and it's all the better for it.
Metacritic: 80(s1), 85(s2)
Speaking of BOOK - then SHOW... I know a few people on here read Justin Cronin's "The Passage" (and trilogy).
That is now on FOX on Mondays, just one episode aired so far, another tonight.
Major networks tend to really stink up good stuff these days, but I think this one will go alright because the novel is so tight.
They seemed to have cast a great lead (the young girl), Wolgast (MP Gosselar), and the main vamp - those cats should be enough to keep the show heading right.
Unf - Metacritic Rating = 62. Meh.
(This would be based on the critics getting an advance 3 episodes... but the story is so good that I'll give it at least 5-6 episode watches.)
We just started watching "Sex Education" - because that has a Metacritic score of 81.
If you can handle British accents, it's pretty solid so far. Gillian Anderson (X-Files) in short bleach-blonde hair is main character, single mom to brit teen boy who won't touch his own dick.
On my own, I'm watching bunnies... Netflix' Watership Down.
If you like new-computer-rendering-style-realism (PS4-style) animation, good voice-acting, and classic childrens novels - this is pretty enjoyable.
But, if you don't really enjoy ALL of those things, this won't be a show for you.
Metacritic: 76
Metacritic is my jam these days.

80+ Gonna watch it fo' sho'
70-79 Probably gonna watch it
60-69 Might watch if somebody with similar tastes recommends it.
<59 Nope, no, unh-unh. Shit stinks and nobody gonna change my mind. (Also - if you recommend a sub-60 show... I don't trust your judgment!)
I watched "You" with the gf... we really enjoyed it. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. The characters are awesome and other than the psychopathic tendences, they are totally relatable in today's social media world.
We've got Sex Ed lined up next... I love Gillian Anderson so it should be good.
I finally watched some of Killing Eve. Definitely into it.
^Wife & I put this one on our "next up" queue over the weekend, but never got to it.
Good to know a few of the Dobber brethren liked it! Thanks boys!!!
Just finished Escape at Dannemora
Really great 8 part series about two inmates who escape a prison with the help of a prison employee.
Highly recommend.

Starting Marvelous Mrs Maisel now based on the recommendations here... wouldn't have even given this one a thought otherwise.
I'm over half way through the 1st season of Counterpart. Really good show but man you have to pay close attention to the characters.
