I tried to stock up on some bargain relievers and hold guys, but 2 will always be on my bench.. is it smarter to drop 1 and add another starter like Iwakuma? or maybe drop one of my hitters instead?

Who are the best starters available? Right now your team looks pretty good IMO.

Who's out there? I could see Hernandez getting dropped for someone if they're any good. You're only keeping 5, so consolidation is the name of the game here for sure too.

Drop Rutledge, you count holds so it doesn't make sense to drop Hernandez.

See I'd rather drop a HLD guy because you've already got enough of them. I can't imagine there are many worthwhile SS's still out there (but correct me if I'm wrong and I'll shut up ). I'd rather have a useful SS backup on the bench than a 4th HLD backup.

Take that advice with about 4 million grains of salt though. Mac is the expert.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and then I'd grab Beachy and stash him on your DL if you can. Unless you've got limited or no DL spots. And then I'd grab one of those pitchers. I kinda like Hammell or Garcia.

really you don't need to carry holds guys on your roster. let the FA pool be your bench for middle relievers. I'd use 1 of the spots to rotate SP each week, there are so many good choices in small leagues just keep looking ahead for juicy matchups vs weaker offenses and lesser SP
