Another huge game for the Jays. Rodgers had the no hitter going pretty late so another great start which is something they were NOT getting by any means earlier.
One thing about the no-no.......and Mike Wilner. I cannot express how much I despise his stubborn attitude and homer-ism. It drives me nuts!! Like even tonight when he was calling for a bit on the radio with Jack Morris.....he mentions the no hitter and the next batter ends it. Jack Morris says "you just jinxed him"........and Wilner goes on about how it's impossible for him to actually jinx somebody and blah blah blah. He wouldn't shut up about it.
I understand that yes....it's impossible to actually jinx a pitcher. But let's be serious....athletes are a superstituous bunch. So are some fans!!

The season has become much more enjoyable now that most have stepped back from the ledge. The jays would be wise to see what pitchers they could rent for the remainder of this year (or two would be a bonus). But to trade Lawrie or Morrow is not a clear headed move and is I'll advised.
