The guy sitting beside me tonight predicted that the game would be lost on a JP passed ball........it ended up not being the direct result of the loss....but the first two were HUGE game changers for the Jays.

For sure, I mean that's your ace out there. When you see a catcher not capable of catching him, his confidence is less than it would be with a guy like Thole behind the dish. Cleveland literally did everything right, they made some amazing plays in the field, got timely hits and Francona pushed all the right buttons in the game.

Ya, JPA didnt have a great night. He was swinging at pitches that were crap and watching pitching cross the plate with the bat on his shoulder. I dont think I even need to mention the catching the dancing ball at all. We all saw enough of that. Dickey seemed to pitch quite well after he gave up the dinger. Too little too late at that point.
Oh well, onward and upward.
