I remember I was there a few years back last time Leafs played them and man that crowd was crazy (in the best way possible). I LOVE Philly fans, I wish they were the same here in Toronto. Philly fans know how to have a good time and that\'s why watching a game there (even being destroyed by heckling for wearing a Leafs jersey) is like no other place I\'ve been (Montreal is a close 2nd).
I heard Calgary and Edmonton is also awesome but haven\'t been to a game there yet.

There is ONLY ONE WAY to shut those fans up. You either Come Correct OR Dont Come At All. Flyers fans are some of the most knowledgeable and loyal in ALL SPORTS.

That being said, there MUST be better ways to spend your entertainment dollar than attending a game in Philly and rooting on the visitors. You get what you deserve. They paid their good money to boo, heckle, and harass the likes of you.

The best memory of Flyers fans for me was when a Toronto fan so boldly wore his jersey to the game. In the upper level the jersey weas ripped off the man and ripped up into shreds and the fans were trying to sell the pieces all the way out to the parking lot. This is a little harsh but if you had seen the a-hole and the way he was taunting flyers fans and flapping his gums you would realize he deserved every bit of it. It is definatly an experience each and every game.

Man, that\'s nothing but a little welcome to Philly for a superstar :laugh: They asked the fans to be there early and loud, so that\'s what we do. Lots open for tailgate 4:30 for a 7 o\'clocker, plenty of steaming time....

He is not even on the radar for most hated.


It is a dead heat between Cindy Crosby and Scott Stevens. I will also except Brodeur, Daneyko, or Claude Lemiux. Pretty much any devil from those trap teams, I LOATHE.

That is so wrong. Taking it way too far imo (im all for heckling and harrassing). Couldn\'t handle his \"gum flapping\" so resorting to attacking him? Thats as bad as yankees fans keying BoSox cars in the stadium (and vice versa).

That kind of stuff happens because of pre-game drinking tailgate parties.

They can\'t seem to make that popular up here.

I\'m all for it, but the rude swearing in front of little kids at hockey and baseball games is bothersome.

Even as a biased Flyers fan, I still have to disagree here. If this were two completely random teams I still believe I\'d feel the same way. Just because they are chanting this inside the rink (likely inbetween periods), who does it hurt? Nobody....it\'s just the fans uniting. Everyone hands stuff out the door also by the way. The \"home advantage\" is about fans making it impossible for you to play in the rink (obv when you are the visiting team). Thats all this is.
