I wonder if, in my lifetime, players will have moved to full, breathable shields. Seems crazy with sticks flying and 60 mph galvanized rubber coming at you that there's so little protection. The guys with no shields are idiots. The mother of one NHL player, who i know, totally agreed with me. Said her son wore the shield all thru junior, of course, but in the NHL he had to prove he's a man.

What a joke my luck is. Last year I had Crosby, D.Sedin, Towes, Datsuyk, Briere, Zajac, Havlat and couple other guys go down in my playoffs. This year not 1 major injury all year. My playoffs started today and in the first game I loose Crosby and Kunitz. Look at my Sig and be worried if we have any of the same players.

Yuck! Maybe shouldn't have watched while eating.
Now my dilemma is...start or sit? We do lineup changes weekly on Saturday nights. We head back home on our trip today and I'll be on the road most of the rest of the day. I know they don't play until Tuesday.....but 3 games this week and I'm clinging to 1st place by 4 points........

I have an annoying buddy who lets us know all the time that only his players are superstars. He has Kunitz and laughably told me that Sid was as good as he was this year because of Kunitz. I hope Sid misses a few games just to see how good Kunitz really is without him, just to shut my buddy up for a bit.
Head to Head League: 1 point for G, 1 point for A. 2 for Goalie win, 3 for SO.
Start 6 guys every week. 3 O, 2 D and 1G. No substitutions once they are in (before the first game starts on Monday).
Protect 3 players every year in keeper.
