    Default Hanzal

Turris, Mueller, Hanzal are at the Phoenix rookie camp. Turris is committed to college. Mueller will likely make the big team. I am thinking that Hanzal could also make the team. Your thoughts?

I think he really has a legitmate shot at making the team out of camp. They have the spot for him, and it\'s completely up to him whether or not he makes it. If he doesn\'t, expect him to be called up by mid-season at the latest.

slightly off but still on Hanzal...

Where would you place him in the top 10 or so prospects of 07?

Is he better than an Eller just based on the fact he is closer alone?

Is he better than a gagner even?

I don\'t think he\'s \'better\' than Eller or Gagner, but as you said, he\'s closer and that counts right now. He is an absolute beast to defend against- pro-ready body since his draft year, good hands, nice vision. He\'s a poor man\'s Thornton and the perfect player to line up alongside Turris or Mueller.

Having said that, I think his statistical upside is a lot less than Eller or Gagner. Think 20-45-65. Eller and Gagner could hit 90.

very interesting..... I have a #9 pick and then not one until 29. So I\'m wondering if that is a spot for eller type or someone closer like hanzal. I think I just want to be able to say \"Hanzal is so hot right now!\"
