Is it just me or did Ryan Clowe jam at the puck on San Jose\'s second goal last night. It looked to me like he CLEARLY was swatting at it and managed to get it over to Mitchell for the goal, yet he didn\'t get an assist on the play. In a tight playoff pool this very play could cost me the title.

Or am I just cracked out and he never even touched the puck?

just as I was ready to post the same question I read your title. Absolutely he made that play, and I even waited for the scoring play to change while I watched the rest of the game. Take that point away from Rivet as I think Michalek may have got another piece of it. I too stole Clowe in the final round of two different playoff drafts and need those late round points.

Are you guys serious??? There are bigger issues in this year\'s playoffs than whether or not buddy touched the puck to get an assist (Clearly coming from a Rivet owner) :silly:

Speaking of which, did anyone else see Lidstrom get credit for an assist on Zetterberg\' first goal?

He shoots it high glass, Weber takes it, stick handles it, shoots it off Datsyuk, gets it back, shoots it off Datsyuk again, Datsytuk takes it in passes to Zetterberg for the goal.

I was laughing when I saw he got credit for it. Detroit is very lenient with handing out assists when it comes to the big 3 (Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom).

Yeah that was bullshit, Lidstrom wasn\'t even in the ****ing zone. Shit like that pisses me off. I could see how you might make a mistake on the Rivet/Clowe assist, but the Lidstrom one wasn\'t even close.

This is why we should have been taking Det players in our hockey pools. They get points just for showing up at the arena.

They also get get out of jail free cards at the start of every game, good for each players to get away with one blatant penalty each.
