For fantasy purposes...I hope it's the Pens. Wherever he ends up...he's going to catch fire once he's away from that dreadful Flames team.
Depending on who the "roster" player is, a lil steep at his age, imo:

I'm going to go out and disagree with the author's notion that Chris Stewart could be had for half the cost of Iginla. Not happening. First of all Stewart is RFA while Iggy is UFA. Iggy is also much older and more expensive. Then there's the little fact that Blues is a contender unlike Flames and Stewart's been their highest scoring player this year. Stewart would cost a ton for any team to acquire. The buy-low window has closed.
Roster player, top-4 D-prospect and a high draft pick sounds about right for Iggy.

They really should have traded him a while ago when they could have gotten at least one solid piece back - now they will get mediocre return, helping them stay exactly where they are.

And I third.
Gets even worse when you think back to the near miss of the O'Reilly fiasco.
Here is what I want to see happen:
Trade Iginla for a 1st and a prospect to either PIT or BOS. He wins a cup, then resigns in Calgary in the summer for $3M/year.
Trade Jbow to DET for either Nyqvist or Tatar and whatever pick you can get out of them.
Trade Stempniak for a 1st.
Re-sign Backlund for something like $12M/4years.

To be honest if (hopefully) Iginal is traded I actually don't want him to resign in the summer.
This team needs to move on from Iginla and get a new start without all of the history that he brings. It is a very simple case of how Iginla goes the flames go, can you see another player wanting to captain the team his way if Iginla is back in the room? Would the flames management insist that he gets the C back if he resigns.
If he goes i want a fresh slate in that dressing room without the shadow of Iginla.
Just to be clear this is not a direpsect to him as a player or a person i just think the flames as a whole need to move on from Iginla.
