Despite the fact that I love Toews, I really feel Kunitz will outpoint Toews this year.

In a one year league, it would probably be a good deal to get Kunitz. But I'm too stubborn and would just play it out with Toews.

As much as Kunitz is on fire, Toews is still close to a point per game. Going forward (ignoring what's already done), I'd feel more confident in trusting Toews to maintain around a PPG pace and Kunitz settling in a bit below it.

Kunitz could prove me wrong though.

I'd take Kunitz. Playing with Crosby will probably keep getting him points.

I really think Kunitz will keep the points up until end of season.

As much as I love Toews, in a one-year (especially THIS year) I go with Kunitz. As long as Crosby is healthy, I expect Kunitz to keep piling up points.

Kunitz has a 1.38 PPG pace which puts him for 114 points over 82 games. So put me in the camp that doesn't believe Kunitz will keep up his current scoring pace. In fact, I am willing to bet a large sum of money on it. It wouldn't surprise me, though, if he stayed slightly below a PPG pace for the rest of the year. Don't really think Toews can do much better but he should closely match that. To me it's a wash but I'd probably take Toews.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Going forward I'd take Toews without a doubt.

I'm biased, I have both. But I was going to point out exactly what VincentVega mentioned about this output over the past 'full season' ... it's a solid pace.

Can't really lose with either, but based on this season I'd say Kunitz.

    D: Werenski, Andersson, Weegar

Keep 4 bolded (based on last season keepers)

I'd go for Kunitz. Toews is a great all-around player but Kunitz simply has a better situation to put up points. Toews has never been a PPG player once in his career, he's always just below. Even if Kunitz' pace slows down, he'll probably at-worst match was Toews does, and at best he could keep his insane 100+ point pace. With Crosby on his line he's pretty much guaranteed to keep racking them up. It's entirely dependent on his line mates and PP time, but I don't see either of those changing.

What I would try to do, is get a little more than just Kunitz in return. The name value Toews brings might be enough to get an additional upgrade somewhere else.

Kunitz is playing way over his head right now.

It's not like this is the first time he's played with Crosby... they were on the same line in 2010-11 as well, and that season he posted 48 points in 66 games.

If we're talking about the rest of this season (ie: the remaining 20 games or so), then perhaps you can make the argument that he'll ride the hot streak (I still wouldn't bet on it), but over the course of a full season there's no way he'll match Toews.
