Gotta love the faith of the faithful Flames fans. (nice little alliteration there, eh?) Not a whole lot of love for my Flyers against the Caps...really hope we dont get KO\'d 1st round...

Haha, yeah. Going to be a tough series, but I honestly think the Flames can pull it out if they decide to show up. They took Detroit to double overtime of game 6 last year and the only player that showed up was Kipper...Imagine if Iggy were to show up too! The Flames seem to be in San Jose\'s head, they\'ve got their number, and Kipper is always amazing against his former club.

Not a whole lot of people picking the Flames to win this series though, I know how you feel. Lotsa 4-0 SJ wins or 4-1 SJ wins predicted.

Flyers/Caps is going to be a great series. Everybody is obviously picking the Caps cause they\'ve had an amazing finish to the season, but really, it could go either way.

Torture!! +1 to you. I think you are inside my head on that last post. I always mention how Kipper is amazing against SJ and SJ was ridiculous for trading him. Somehow I had a brain fart and forgot to take this into accountability when considering this matchup. I remember the Flames 1st round against Detroit last year. McLennan...wow :laugh: regardless, they showed real promise there against a team that could have very easily won the Cup (anaheim barely squeaked past the wings).

Although I\'ve pictured the Sharks going far for the last 2 years and imagine they might go this year, I now decide to cheer for the Flyers and Flames in the first round (cheering for the Flames is definitely a 1st for me).

Damn Minny and Anaheim. With the way Anaheim played I am glad they lost, they all played with chip\'s on their shoulders.
