I totally agree that we need to work hard on the rules before the whole thing starts as it\'s easier to make changes then.

New Dynasty League with a Twist
Online Yahoo is the way to go. It would then be up to the Commish to move all of the players from the 30 player league into three 10 team leagues and load up the dummy teams. We could let the 30 man league ride out the season without any updates. Be interesting to see where the chips lie based on the draft alone. Perhaps we could bet on where our drafted team ends up?
Sorry for the work Commish..perhaps one person could load a league rather than the Commish doing all three.

Just a suggestion but it would be tough to do a live draft with 30 guys (30 different work/family schedules).
My thoughts would be to:
* first do the 3 round auction you suggested (should be very interesting)
* then do the remaining rounds on a board via \'Slow Draft\', 1 round each week (30 picks), with each guy given a designated time slot and specific instructions on where to post his pick. You could post a ranking from yahoo, and if the guy did not make his pick during that time he would get the next player available. Only challenge would be maintaining the available player list, but maybe each guy could cross out a player from the yahoo rank list posted when he made a pick.
Commish could even appoint one guy for each week / round of the Slow Draft to be the \"gatekeeper\" to ensure everything runs smoothly.
