D Stafford

Anybody know what happened to Stafford yesterday? I think he got like 9 min of ice time and maybe none in the 3rd.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was just benched.

I didn't see any injury or anything, I think he's just playing 4th line minutes. Funny thing though is that I thought his game yesterday, even wight the limited ice time, was one of the better that he's played in quite some time. On more than on occasion he took the puck hard to the slot/crease using his big frame after coming down the wing with speed.

That's always been the style of play that Stafford needs to display consistently to be successful, so it was nice to see. Still, I wouldn't bank on him doing it consistently enough to make much of an impact in fantasy play aisde from the stray point here and there.
