From Rotowire:
Coach Dan Bylsma said Sutter would move to the second line with James Neal if Evgeni Malkin (head) is forced to miss time.

Bylsma likes to play with his line combinations so they could be put together on the same line. Especially if that Sutter/Neal compo wouldn't work. And Bylsma usually puts his big guns together at the end of the periods so Neal will likely then take Dupuis' spot from time to time.
Neal does most of his damage on PP anyways and both he and Malkin have been subpar on ES this year so this shouldn't have too big of an effect on Neal's production. Of course losing Malkin hurts the PP but there's still enough talent there for them to continue to do damage on PP.
But it wouldn't be a reunion as Crosby and Neal have never been regular linemates on ES

I hope this happens ASAP... this may actually work out quite nicely for Neal
Cautiously optimistic news for us Malkin owners. From CBSSports:
Malkin (head) will be re-evaluated by doctors Sunday. He is no longer suffering headaches or disorientation, so it's possible that he does not have a concussion.

I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
All reports now are saying that Malkin hasn't suffered from headaches or disorientation...
@penguins: Bylsma confirmed that Malkin hasn't suffered from headaches or disorientation at any point in time since hitting the boards.
But, if you believe HockyInsiderr or not;
@HockeyyInsiderr: BREAKING NEWS:#Pens sources advised me Malkin's concussion is "moderate-to-severe" and could be out for 2-to-4 weeks.
So go figure. Could the pens be trying to cover up the severity of his injury?
Also, as for line combos, it looks like Neal is playing with Crosby and Kunitz:

Yep, Sid is playing with Neal and Kunitz. And he scored 2 goals in the first period, although the second was an own goal by Lindback.
And he's been officially diagnosed with a concussion
Bylsma says Malkin had some short-term memory loss and has been diagnosed with a concussion.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.
This doesn't sound that good:
Dave Molinari@MolinariPG
Bylsma says Malkin's short-term memory is returning but he won't accompany Penguins on road trip that begins Tuesday in Florida.

Pittsburgh Penguins @penguins
Malkin skated for 30 minutes today in Pittsburgh.
Dave Molinari @MolinariPG
Penguins coach Dan Bylsma reports that Malkin skated today after being symptom--free Tuesday.
Good mercy... I hope he's OK.
My chances of winning the DobberEntry Smythe division hinge on a healthy-Malkin.
I'm on the verge of trading him - only 8 weeks left in the season.
And it looks like I'm going to have to bench him for the upcoming Thursday-midnight weekly-lock time.
I'm late to the party on this one as I've been out of the country since last week, but I am stoked to see that Neal move up alongside Crosby and they seem to be gelling!
Hate to see such a talent go down, but talk about an awesome consolation prize (for Neal owners at least)
