A trio of inconsistent and unproven fill my goalie ranks.
I'm in trade talks to acquire Quick. I am in a win now mode, though I don't want to ignore my future as I have a youngish team.
Assuming I can acquire Quick, who do you think I trade away? How would you rank my goalies this year? and long term?
Thanks in advance!

I think you have to give the edge to Varlamov here. He has the better stats over his career and Colorado is invested deeply in him considering what they gave up to get him.
Pavelac would be ranked second as he is a proven starter who has posted average stats on a below-average team.
Lindback ranks third for me but only due to his lack of experience. He has struggled to show he can handle a starter's work load. Plus coming from the defensive Nashville system, his initial stats are probably slightly better than what they will be in Tampa Bay.
However, I would probably shop both Pavelac and Lindback and trade whoever gave me the better return. The return you get for each will probably depend significantly on the GM you are trading with.
Without me, it's only "aweso".
Varly
Lindback
Pavelec.
to get quick youd probably at least have to throw in varly, lindback and a player as good or better than say... moulson or voracek.
you have lots of lw so id try trade one of them.

Thanks for the responses. I am optimistic for Lindback as I've been watching him for a few years, but agree he is unproven. Though I feel that once he get used to an increased workload, he may be a stud.
I agree with the assessment of Varlamov. Pavelec is just so frustrating because he can be incredible, I keep waiting for him to string it together.
Many Thanks!
