The King is going to slam the door on the antarctic birds - go with Nash. Otherwise looks good to me.
I just want to confirm my thoughts on these wingers:
LW - Pick 2
Nash vs CGY
Malone @ NYR
Vanek vs TB (tomorrow)
Nash doesn\'t have good career numbers against CGY (8pts in 17 games). Malone numbers vs NYR aren\'t that great either (5 pts in 25 games), but PIT are on a roll. Vanek has been back to his old habit (he even played under 10 min. in the last game), but he\'s facing TB and his 12 pts in 11 games (5pts in 3 games this year) makes me want him. I\'m leaning toward the last two.
RW - Pick 2
Radulov vs WAS
Hemsky vs PHO
Selanne @ DAL (tomorrow)
Radulov has been back with Arnott and Dumont. Hemsky is on a streak (he also has 17 pts in 17 games vs the PHO) and there\'s a chance Bryz won\'t play since he played last night. Teemu is not the same guy on the road and they are facing a defensive team in DAL. I\'m leaning toward the first two.
Thanks guys!

G - Scheinder , Dubnyk , Lack
Hey thanks Smoothone
First matchups prediction from Shoeless in two weeks or so. I guess I must follow them!!!
Seriously, after looking at Lundy\'s career numbers vs PIT, you\'re probably right though!
This reminds me of Jan. 22nd. ATL is coming into MSG with Kovalchuk and company who could bust out at anytime. Lundy whips out a shutout with the thanks of Kovalchuk\'s match penalty for boarding :P
Lundqvist at home: 21-12-1 1.99/.917 with 8 out of his 9 shutouts coming at home.
Pitts has put up 18 goals in their last 3 games, so they\'re going to be cooling off. Besides when Malkin and Sykora had 4 pt. games Malone only squeezed out 2.
With only 1 pt. in 3 games vs. the Flames if you\'re over on LW GP, perhaps Nash would be one to sit tonight? Make up that game and play him against a more favourable opponent.
Oh and just a little side note, for when you\'re planning on playing Ward vs. ATL.... Kovalchuk has 11 pts. in 6 games this year vs. the Canes... just to help you sleep better at night

Thanks Marty! The numbers you gave me confirm the whole once more.
I\'m not that over (only +3), but I would probably bench Nash vs CGY. Malone and PIT are playing TB later on this week. That might be a good game.
Oh by the way, thanks for the nightmare about Kovy!
Chic I was looking at what time you made the initial post.
How do you even type at 5am?
If you are over in games I would look for the favourable matchups.

I don\'t like any of the LW matchups

Despite what I\'ve said about Vanek, I\'m still on the fence on him. I have to decide between recent poor play and good past games numbers...
Sorry to hear about ur back. Hope it gets to 100% soon.
Vanek against Tbay would definately be the best matchups for the LW but the 3rd and 4th lines have been producing of late for Buf. The gaustad, hecht and pominville line been on fire.

Thanks! I hope this too!
As for Vanek, you\'re absolutely right. He even played 9:05 in last game...
Hmmm... who would have thought Rick Nash would put up 3 points, playing along Dan Fritsche? and Malholtra??? against Kipper????? are you kidding me? Looks like Christmas is coming in March.

The great Shoeless strikes again! However, I did also bench Nash yesterday...
I guess that\'s the price you got to pay sometimes when you\'re trying to play the matchups! Just hope he\'ll do it again tonight!
In Detroit against the Wings? Hmmm, laddy we need to be talking about what makes a good matchup.
