I would rank them Berglund, Oshie, Eller. I have Berglund and Oshie in a keeper and have been following as close as I could. Berglund and Oshie will probably play next year, and Berglund could be an impact player out of the gates and contend for the Calder.

As for goalies, Schwarz has been so inconsistent that he will likely be overtaken by Bishop, or some free agent signing.

I thought Eller lines up at LW, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I think Oshie has the best upside of those three with Berglund being close behind and Eller a bit further back. In a few years, Eller will be playing with either of the other two though, so I think they\'ll all be pretty close production-wise.

I don\'t really like the Blues\' goaltending situation at any level. Toivonen and Swhwartz have both been disappointments so far, although it\'s probably a little early to go around shouting doom and gloom about Schwartz. Bishop is intriguing, but I\'m wondering how good his skills are and how much he\'s been relying on his size so far.

with a name like Ben Bishop, how can he fail?

    Oshie>Berglund>Eller

Toivenen has the technique but can\'t seem to put it all together. I\'ve never seen Schwarz play but word is that he\'s been disappointing this year. Not worth waiting for him.

Wait until we see a bit more of Bishop.

    Schwarz > Bishop.

Marek has had some rough spots, but he\'s hardly the only thing going wrong down in Peoria. He\'s always been a long term goalie project. There\'s no reason to get on him because he hasn\'t progressed ahead of schedule.

Bishop, from the honest little I\'ve seen, is huge. He is. He\'s taller than Ken Dryden and without the talent. It\'s easy to stop pucks when you\'re so big. Of course, Devan Dubnyk is also large, but he was never anything special. Bishop seems decent in net, but what I saw of him gave me doubts of his ability to be a solid NHL goalie.
Schwarz, on the other hand, has shown flashes, much like karri Ramo. I\'ll take those flashes over something I don\'t see panning out.

    BERGLUND >>>>> Oshie >> Eller

If you\'re talking about upside, Berglund is your man. If you\'re talking about sure shot, Oshie is your man. Oshie is a 65 pts players like Peca, Drury and Brind\'Amour.

But Berglund could be real gold 90 + pts. If you read me a couple of times, I\'m one of Berglund\'s biggest fan. I really think he could have a Kopitar type of rookie season and if you want a good comparison, Berglund has the type of develepment of Kopitar. SEL/Allsvenskan, bigman, great passer ...

Don\'t know a lot on Eller but he could be a good player to.

In my mind, Schwarz is ahead Bishop. Bishop seems to be a BIG project for the Blues.

Just a question to Pete and Crazynuck....I\'m a little worried about Oshie now that your predicting that he has a potential of 65 points....if you compare him to peca do you guys think that he will be good in other categories like pims and +/-?? And further on do you think that his style of play will make him a future band-aid boy candidate...thanks!

ok im from stlouis and oshie will for sure make the team next season and yes berglund might NOT, the blues really wanted berglund to play in america this season but he wanted to stay in sweden, the blues love both but they believe oshie is closer to making an impact and we traded for mcdonald so we didnt have to rush our young guys, now whoever thinks oshie is a 65 pt player is completely stupid, i would say oshie can be 85-90 pts, oshie next season, berglund the season after, and eller does play wing too and he will probably play wing with the blues to get playing time and he is a few years off, but the blues prospect you should look out for is Steve Stamkos lol

I was agreeing with how Pete had them ranked.

I see Oshie as a 75-80 pt guy. Dobber has him pegged as a Sullivan type player. He\'s very skilled but his size will keep him from being a superstar.
Berglund has a chance to be a 90+ guy.

oshie\'s size isnt that big of a deal because he doesnt play soft, he is 6 foot and weighs 188 so he isnt really that small

Wait then, with 2 inches and 25 pounds he would be Berglund.

Which is why Berglund is the big time guy. Sundinesque...

berglund is 6-4 187, so he is only taller then oshie not bigger, the fact is oshie will be with the blues next season and berglund wont be, everyone who says berglund will be on the team next season where are you getting your information, jd and the rest of the blues dont come out and say what they are going to do but they hint what they are going to do, last season they were very disappointed that erik johnson and TJ OSHIE did not sign with the team, they were also disappointed when oshie decided to go back to north dakota at the beginning of this season, they were surprised at berglund at camp but they thought he needed to add size and work on his game before he was ready and they wanted him to play in the ahl, when they traded for mcdonald they said it was great because they wouldnt have to rush the young guys, oshie will be on one of the blues\' top two lines next season, on this subject i dont care what dobber or anyone else says because are you guys in stlouis, i think not, if i want oshie or berglund for next season i am taking oshie and on hockeyfutures.com they have oshie just ahead of berglund, saying he has all the makings of a number 1 center and that berglund will be atleast a number 2 center, so oshie also has a slight edge there
