Started Red Notice last night, a little better than halfway through. So far it’s pretty decent, Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynolds and The Rock is The Rock… and neither of those are bad things. The chemistry between them isn’t as strong as I would hope but they do have some decent moments.
And Gal Gadot may have moved a few spots up my crush list with this performance. What a smokeshow!
Gal Gadot is definitely a leading candidate for "Hottest Woman on the Planet" right now. I'll have to watch Red Notice just for her - I've got very low expectations based on the cast.
While we're talking about Ryan Reynolds - I watched Free Guy last week, and it was surprisingly awesome. Very original... and I can't stand Ryan Reynolds. 8.5/10

I don't even recall the last two I watched.
So I'll do my best.
Red Notice - Too predictable and formulaic for my tastes. Figured out the twist from the very beginning. I suspected what would happen in a relationship dynamic and it did. I like movies that can fool or surprise me. Turn off your brain for this one. 6.5 out of 10. Was still fun.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - 7.5 out of 10. Very fun, especially towards the latter half.
Dune - 7 out of 10. Much better than that 80's crapola. :P
Night Teeth - 6 out of 10. Good silly fun.
Halloween Kills - 3 out of 10. Fun at parts, but the usual predictable drivel from a franchise like this one. I only watched it to do cardio to and also pass the time. Also was that time of the year. Sometimes you want to watch a scary movie, even when it isn't scary. I am just so done with horror.
I am a hockey obsessed fiend.
I watched Shang-Chi and thought it was average at best (and I'm asian too). I really wanted to like it and support hollywood's first asian male lead but it was just meh. 6/10
Shang Chi is next on my list.
Been slowly rewatching Heat. Forgot how good that movie is.
Red Notice - I feel like everyone will watch this just because. As mentioned it was pretty predictable and all actors played their usual part. Definitely agree on Gal Gadot. Holy.
Dune - first in theatre movie in almost 2 years and wow was it worth it. What an experience. What a fantastic world that they built.
Despite not really liking Daniel Craig's Bond films since Casino Royale and scoffing at its near 3 hour run time I quite liked No Time to Die.
I quite enjoyed Shang-Chi. I thought it was great fun. Maybe you were expecting too much Blayze? My youngest (12) and my wife (surprising) liked it as well. 7/10 for me!
Also saw Dune recently. It was too long I think. I enjoyed it, but my son (12) bailed about 45 minutes in. I couldnt really argue too much as it was dragging on a bit. I knew it would pay off and it basically did, but I didnt really like the ending. 6.5/10
Shang-Chi was good.
I couldn't get thru No Time To Die without a nap.
Red Notice was much better than Bond. It did what it set out to do, unlike 007.
Dune will need a re-watch, I kept running the Lynch version thru my head and comparing.
My contribution:
The Beta Test is a fantastic surprise - another off key winner by Jim Cummings. (RIYL - Thunder Road, The Wolf of Snow Hollow)
The wife loves her RomComs so we watched Live Hard on Netflix tonight. I won't lie, it wasn't bad. It was your typical RomCom and quite predictable but I still liked it.
