Bad Grandpa & Transcendence

First Bad Grandpa

Always LOVED everything Jackass, but never had desire to watch this. Had zero expectations, and watched it with 12 year old nephew. Actually quite enjoyed it. Sure it is stupid, but it definitely had some funny moments!

Secondly Transcendence. Quite enjoyed this film. Loved the theme, and the concept. I think it is interesting, and I wouldn't be surprised if stuff like this was able to happen in a few hundred years. I would recommend it if you needed a good flick.

I probably rate it a 7 out of 10

I watched Hunger Games : Catching Fire over the weekend. I liked it, but not as much as the first one. To me, it really felt as a bridge just to get to the 3rd movie.

I watched Moonrise Kingdom on Netflix, and I quite liked it. Pretty adorable story. I would imagine some people just don't appreciate Wes Anderson's work, but I tend to find it charming, as I did here. 7.5/10

i had the subtitles on too, i just thought the plot sucked. the beginning was somewhat interesting, but it just got worse and worse as the movie progressed. i was bored for 90% of the movie, guess it just wasn't for me.

I agree that it got a bit sloppy towards the end, but the concept was awesome. They could have done something phenomenal.

Draft Day - 9.5/10 - All I can say, as an avid fantasy sports person (football and hockey) is that this is a damn good movie. Everything I would want to see in a movie about the NFL draft, trades, pressure, player reactions and naturally a terrible love story lol (very small part) Its a feel good movie and well, I felt really good after watching it. Cynics would probably hate it, but a fun movie.

I started watching Noah last night, and turned it off halfway.
What a weird, poorly conceived movie and not at all what I expected given the subject the cast. Would not recommend.

Boyhood- a very simple story of a boy growing up. The movie was filmed over the course of 10-14 years. You watch the characters age which is really cool. It's the best movie I've seen this year.

MacGruber- I watch this monthly.

I saw this in the theater but watched it the other day. Definitely a good movie. Kinda funny but very heartwarming. Great message about love and family.
