    Nobody was a fine watch.

Would of loved me some more RZA screen time.

Nobody was excellent. It's on Netflix and has Bob Odenkirk (Saul of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul) in a gritty action movie.
Really enjoyed it, Odenkirk is a really great actor.

I have been watching several of the UnTold documentaries on Netflix.
Saw the Johnny Manziel one recently and it showed him in an interesting light. Basically he knew and admits he loves to party and that cost him a long-term shot in the NFL (this was pretty well known).
However the documentary dives somewhat into his mental health, and mental health in general and shows he was not in a good spot when he made the NFL, at the end he seems quite content with his life.

Finally, interesting tidbit: Manziel was paid tons of money to sign autographs during his time in the NCAA (before that was allowed) in order to partially cover it up his best-friend and "manager" Nate made up a story that Manziel's Grandpa was super rich and had Texas Oil Money. I distinctly remember reading and hearing these reports from numerous outlets while Manziel was in college (and sitting courtside at NBA games).

The thing is... this story was not true at all but invented by Nate as a means to explain all of Manziel's partying... pretty smart for a 20 year old kid

I don’t think this is really a spoiler so I won’t hide it. Haven’t seen the movie yet but apparently Sean Avery makes a cameo in Oppenheimer. He had previously had a cameo in Tenet for Nolan as well

Did any of you eagle-eyed Dobberites take note of that?
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

Ya he was a weatherman around the time the explosion happened. He played a soldier in Tenet too.

I wish I didn't know that. It cheapens the film somewhat. What were they thinking?

He's in such a small role it doesn't matter. And Christopher Nolan works with the same people over and over, and Avery somehow got into Tenet, so he'll def be apart of every Nolan movie moving forward in some small background, non-speaking role.

mrs and i watched Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

if you like teh first ones then this one is really off the mark. Maybe it was me but i wasn't sure if this was a "prequel" type movie or the producers just said F the timelines and what everyone knows from past movies and put this one out? it seemed that the proportions of the Transformers was different throughout? or maybe just overall smaller than past movies? i dunno..i didn't like it at all really.

It was a sequel to the Bumblebee movie. It made it a lot clearer if you thought about the timeline more since the Bay-Formers movies were set in more modern time, where as Bumblebee and RotB were 90s.

I liked it, it was clearly filmed in COVID (June-Oct 2021) so the lack of people in some scenes was obvious and took away from things, but the CGI was strong I thought for the transformers. And I enjoyed the fact it was more about the Transformers, and not about humans (like in the Bay-formers ones). And the twist at the end was out of nowhere and I love the potential.

But the ending was clunky, which isn't something foreign to the Transformers movies in general. And I think the proportions of the transformers seemed off as it was a lot of Transformer vs Transformer without other common things involved to give us a size comparison. Bay-Formers was very good at letting us know the size of fights giving us buses, cars, buildings, and humans to give context to size and strength. This movie couldn't really do that.

    I'd give it a 6.5/10

Bumblebee was roughly the same for me as RotB. I wouldn't rush to watch it.

I also wanna point out, there was no where near enough screen time to the Maximals. Like....I grew up watching Beast Wars and to not have them in "transformer" form more often was so annoying. And no Predacons was a miss step. No real screen time for Cheetor and Rhinox sucked. Optimus Primal didn't even say "Well that's just Prime" which is his catchphrase. I rather them have Rattrap in it over Rhinox too, but Mirage had that role of comedic relief.

They 100% are it's been reported. Highlight below for spoilers.

Both have crossed over into the others comic books and the GI Joe rebooted their franchise with "Snake Eyes" in 2021 which will be a part of the same Hasbro Universe.

It took many viewings, but I finished John Wick 4.

151 kills makes it the bloodiest of the series....and perhaps the dumbest. How many bullets missed his head? Falling 4 stories, bouncing off a van and surviving? The man is made of steel.

This one was a yawn for me. End the series? What say you John Wick?
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
