Touchdowns are the most volatile stat from year to year, especially with receivers. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see Brown end up with 7-9 TDs by the end of the year. He dropped one last week that would have been a TD

Pick a RB: Martin vs KC, Brown @ NYJ, Green @ Hou

In another league at TE with 0.5 for receptions...Rudolph or Jermichael?
Martin for sure. Brown is a flex play at best and we need to wait to see how GB is going to use Green before we plug him in. Houston's run D is among the best in the league so I wouldn't advocate starting Green even if we knew he was getting 15 carries.

i have not done well picking TE's week to week this season. I actually have the same quandary this week. I've rode Finley all season and have been disappointed with the production. The main issue is all the drops and the shoulder injury adds to the concern, so I'm rolling with Rudolph this week and would recommend him over Finley until he shows us something more.

I'd roll with the Hyphen, but with as many plays as the Patriots are running right now (95 total, 50 rushing attempts last week) It's hard to ignore the New England backs. If I was choosing one of them I would probably go with Woodhead in PPR and Bolden in non-ppr, but it's more of a crapshoot than Stephens-Howling if he plays and is named the starter.

Hillman is coming on, but I think we need to see more before we plug him in, unless there are no other options.

Powell is one of the WW darlings this week, but I think the Hyphen is more talented and should get the first shot at being the lead back. Powell could get a GL TD though.

It would take a lot for me to trade AJ Green. Much more than you are being offered. I'd want someone like Foster/Rice/McCoy/Graham/Gronk in return.

If you are hurting at RB and that trade is your only option, I would counter with AJ Green for Lynch AND Nelson. That's close, but if it were me I probably still wouldn't do it unless I was 1-4 or 0-5 and really needed to shake up my team.

Normally I'd agree, but Antonio Brown is a small receiver listed as 5'10...he is not a good red zone target and the numbers seem to back it up. Sometimes 1+1 does equal 2.

Never said anything about being a red zone target. Obviously Antonio Brown is a much better play in PPR leagues, but there are other ways to get in the end zone than just being a huge jump ball receiver. Size and height certainly help, but route running, the ability to gain separation, speed, and offensive scheming are also ways that smaller receivers can score on any given play

Wes Welker is 5'9 and has 3 seasons of at least 7 touchdowns.

Steve Smith is 5'9 and has 6 seasons with at least 7 touchdowns and another with 6.

Santana Moss is 5'10 and has 5 seasons of at least 6 touchdowns.

Percy Harvin is 5'11 and has 3 seasons (out of 4) of at least 5 touchdowns.

Greg Jennings is 5'11 and has 4 seasons of at least 9 touchdowns.

    I could go on.

of course it is possible, but I'm just saying that Antonio Brown hasnt showed that he has the ability to score TD's yet and people should be aware of that risk when they are trading for him.

Could you have a look at this question I made in a separate thread?

I recently traded away BJGE and then lost Williams to injury, so right now I've only got McCoy and SJax as starting RB's with D Richardson, Vereen and Best as backups.

I'm in discussions with the guy owning McFadden about a trade. It seems like it would take something like Nicks + LaFell to get it done, but I'm not sure if it really helps me that much.

    Lineup before trade:
    QB: Rivers
    RB: McCoy, SJax
WR: AJ Green, Nicks, Torrey Smith
    Flex: Stevie Johnson
    TE: Daniels

Bench: D Richardson, Vereen, Best, LaFell, Pitta

    After trade:
    QB: Rivers
    RB: McCoy, McFadden
WR: AJ Green, Torrey Smith, Stevie Johnson
    Flex: McFadden
    TE: Daniels

The twist is that McFadden is done with his bye week, so without a trade I will have to start Vereen (or Best) for a week or two.

LaFell is droppable at this point so really its just Nicks we are concerned about. I would probably do this trade.

I traded SJax+D.Richardson for FJax+Green today, and I've also got Jahvid Best stashed on the bench.

    Lineup now would be:
    QB: Rivers
    RB: McCoy, FJax
WR: AJ Green, Nicks, Torrey Smith
    Flex: Green/Best/Stevie Johnson
    TE: Daniels

I think I'm better off holding on to Nicks and trying to package 2-3 of Fjax, Green, Best, Stevie and Torrey for an elite RB. Agree?

Alex Green? I think I like that move, but who knows how the Packers will split up the carries this week and going forward. FJax will have a rough go of it this week, but should be as least as valuable as SJax for most of the season.

I'd agree that keeping Nicks was a better move given the deal you received.

yeah I had a good look at SJax schedule and decided to get rid of him before it was too late. It is a 14 team league, so just the fact that I can now package 2 RB's and a WR for an upgrade should give me alot of leverage.

Not sure of who to target though. Could you rank the top 10 rb's for the rest of the season?

Would not want to start either, but give me Ponder against the 31st ranked Redskins pass defense who are giving up an average of 328 yards per game through week 5.
