    Default Pricer's Picks - Week 6

Another wild and crazy weekend nearly in the books. A lot to talk about this week, so let's get it started.

A couple of very fun games last weekend, especially IND/GB. I won my week pretty handily thanks to the Cutler/Marshall combo, a decent game from McCoy and my opponent having a very poor week.

I've asked a couple of questions in these threads before and have noted that my biggest weakness is at the QB spot. I can move Forte for either Newton or Luck. This wouldn't hurt me too much at RB as I can run with McCoy and MoJo the rest of the year (Forte and MoJo are on byes this week, McCoy next week, then I'm good after that).

So question is, do you like Forte for one of those QB's and which do you prefer? Or should I maybe approach the RGIII owner and see if I can buy low (even with the injury concern?)

The book is written on Starks. We know what he has to offer and he isn't worth a pickup in my opinion

I like Green's talent, but is GB really going to continue running the ball consistently with Benson out? I just don't know.

LaRod Stephens- Howling is interesting. Used correctly, he could be a poor man's Darren Sproles. In week 17 last year they gave him 20 carries, so he has shown he can handle a larger role. The question is if the Cardinals believe he can handle 15-20 carries a game.

Everyone is going to be focused on Powell, so you should be able to get the Hyphen without blowing a high priority WW slot or spending too much of your FAAB budget.

If you can trade Forte straight up for RG3 I would do it given the rest of your backfield. Throw in Cutler too. If he balks and wants Romo instead, argue that you need a solid backup behind RG3 due to the concussion.

I want to say Cam is going to turn it around, but I just don't know. I would probably offer Forte and Cutler for Cam and something small back in return

I think Forte for Luck is overpaying. Maybe he can throw something back your way also? Throw in Cutler too just so he gets a QB back.

got pretty much the same question, but the deadline is in 7-8 hours....

I just lost Ryan Williams and need another RB. I've got the 4th waiver rank in a 14 team league, but #1 and #2 arent very active, so it could be considered a #2.

Do I burn my waiver rank on a RB, and if yes which one? If no, which one do I try to pick up for free? Basically rank the following RBs?

    Available:
Powell, Green, Vereen, Wilson, Ballard, Draughn, Ingram, Miller

    I know...slim pickings....
    14 Team Dynasty League
    5 C's, 8 W's, 5 D's, 2G's - 3 Prospects.

    Scoring
    F: Goals(3) Assists(2)
    D: Goals(4) Assist(3)
    G: W(3) Saves(0.15) Goal Against(-0.75) Shutout(2)

C: Datsyuk, Grabovski, Backstrom, Bergeron, Bozak
W: Kovalchuk, Ovechkin, P Kane, Hall, Sharp, Kessel, Nash, Silfverberg
D: Enstrom, Letang, Kronwall, Faulk, Chara
    G: Miller, Price

    IR:
    Prospects: Galchenyuk, Nyquist, Shore

I probably wouldn't burn such a high priority on any of those guys. Is LaRod Stephen-Howling out there? I'd grab Wilson as the best of the bunch there, but I bet you could save your priority and get Hyphen when he slips through waivers.

    1. Wilson
    2. Green
    3. Hyphen (if out there)
    4. Vereen
    5. Powell
    6. Miller
    7. Ballard
    8. Ingram
    9. Draughn

Thanks for the quick response! Deleting my waiver pickup of Green for Williams then. Hyphen is taken.

Antonio Brown has 3 career TDs in 29 games.....he'll get you some yards, but dont expect any high scoring games.

Thanks again for this awesome thread.

Pick a RB: Martin vs KC, Brown @ NYJ, Green @ Hou

In another league at TE with 0.5 for receptions...Rudolph or Jermichael?

Both Wilson and Green was claimed, so I picked up Vereen. Will be pretty scary when I have to start him in week 7 against the Jets though....
