It was a guy that had a teenage girl meltdown on the forum. Bondon negotiated with him and we settled on "bag of apples". Not nearly as entertaining.

Bondon tends to make things less entertaining...

As for doubting yourself because of the sentiments expressed on the 'net?

This exchange happened in the forums of another website I visit.

One guy started spouting about how he can say what he wants because everyone has the right to their opinion...

To which a female forum member replied:
"But we'd all be happier if far fewer of you insisted on taking advantage of that particular entitlement. I have the right to an abortion, but I don't try to get knocked up on a regular basis just to exercise it."

I'm not sure that this is entirely relevant, but I loved her response so much that I find reasons to repeat it.
