Flopping to be fined in the NBA

Blake Griffin - F - Clippers
The NBA will penalize players who flop during games this season.
The penalties won't be handed out during games, but will instead be reviewed on video by an independent party. The fine schedule for flopping is as follows. Violation 1 is a warning, violation 2 is a $5,000 fine, violation 3 is $10,000, violation 4 is $15,000 and violation 5 is a whopping $30,000 fine. Any player violating the anti-flopping rule six times or more will be subject to further discipline, so guys like Blake Griffin, Manu Ginobili, Anderson Varejao and several others will have to change their ways or prepare to get the check book out.
