    Default RG3 for Ryan Matthews?

its a 12 team, keep 6 keeper, H2H league, standard yahoo cats

last years champ needs a QB.. hes got Romo right now.. I have Newton and RG3. He wants one of them. I think I need help at RB the most and he said he'd trade Ryan Matthews.. should i consider this for one of my QBs? Im looking to rebuild a little so if i can get a high draft pick out of this it may help me.. does anyone have any suggestions on a trade? Would you rather keep Newton or RG3? or should I stick with both?

    My Team:
    QB- Newton
    WR- Nicks
    WR- J. Nelson
    WR- Colston
    RB- MJD
    RB- Andre Brown
    TE - Owen Daniels
    K- Hartley
    DEF- Philly
Bench - RG3, Fred Jax, Maclin, Crabtree, Donald Brown, Ryan Williams

    His Team
    QB- Romo
    WR- Jennings
    WR- Marshall
    WR- Cruz
    RB- Rice
    RB- Peterson
    TE - Witten
    K- Hanson
    DEF- Houston, Arizona
Bench - Ryan Matthews, Mendenhall, Gerhart, Cobb, McCluster

Any help would be much appreciated,
    Thanks

Straight up for Matthews? I'd probably do it, sure. But why trade for decent value - go for a bigger one

Offer him RG3 and Donald Brown for Romo and Matthews - may as well keep a good backup QB handy and you probably shouldn't use 6 roster spots on RB anyway, so send one to him.

Of course if you can get RG3 + Andre Brown for Rice or Peterson that's no brainer territory - ask him what the price would be on Rice or Adrian just to be good on your ideas.

    I live Dyv's call.

I think Peterson and Romo for RG3 and Brown could happen easliy.

He doesn't roster a second QB, so he's desperate at this point, you hold the cards and RG3's ppg right now is exponential over Romo.

He'll be smart enough to know that Brown won't be overly valueable all season, but he's also got Matthews and Mendenhall to slot in when needed.

I'd push hard as you already have Maclin for a backup WR and having MJD/AP/FJax would be a sweet trifecta.

If he pushed for Newton over RG3 I'm not sure I would still do it. RG3 is off to a great start but he plays in Washington and that is a franchise that will ruin him at some point because that's all they do in Washington. Add in that your RBs are a bit longer in the tooth, (except Williams) and I'd be asking Rice if he asked Newton. But that's getting into personal hunch territory
