that was quiet a hard one for the pats
Well New England......you really screwed me this week. Im not sure I've ever experienced the range of emotions that I felt in that 1 minute span to end the game.
First despair because how the frig were the Pats about to lose to ARIZONA of all teams.....all while not even scoring a TD
Then complete disbelief that the Cards could fumble in a beautiful situation like that....
Then jaw dropping shock when the kick was booted wide
I had 54 people in my pool this year.....it's down to 11
that was quiet a hard one for the pats
yesterday was amazing. i cursed quite loudly after that fumble, but was overjoyed with the missed kick. half the people in both my pools out. well done cincy and san diego.
So, my advice? Start a second pool beginning in week 3 - let the current one finish with their final 11 playing it out and start up a second one for whoever wants to get in (including those still alive) - of course the rule 'any entries alive at the end of the year split the pot, if we ever have more than one' takes care of everything, but I bet you could run at least 3 pools this year, maybe 4 if you wanted
NFL suicide pools get ruined every year. This isn't the first time. Sucks when it happens to you though.
