Rodgers/Welker for Foster/A. Brown
Stats in my league are skewed.
Only 1 point per 100 passing yards. Yahoo default is 1 per 25 yards.
Passing Touchdowns 4
Interceptions -1
Rushing Yards 50 yards per point. Yahoo default is 10 yards per point
Rushing Touchdowns 6
Reception Yards 50 yards per point. Yahoo default 10 yards per point
Reception Touchdowns 6
Return Touchdowns 6
2-Point Conversions 2
Fumbles Lost -2
Pick Sixes Thrown -2
Rodgers got 243 fantasy points under this format last year.
Foster only got 102.
Welker 86.
Brown 41.
I think I could do this trade because managers probably don't realize how qb's are worth so much in this league. Especially qb's that pass for lots of td's.
Any reason to think any of these players won't perform similarly to last year?

1. Rodgers/Welker for Foster/A. Brown makes it sound like you're giving up Rodgers/Welker.
2. Several reasons to think Rodgers wont produce similar to last year. His schedule was alot easier and his TD/INT ratio was simply too sick to be repeated. He might have a similar season again before he retires, but that is not to be expected. 45/6 is not normal. Brady did 50/8 i 2007 and hasnt come close since. Peyton did 49/10 in 2004, Brees 46/14 last year.
What all of these have in common is that something like 35/10 would be a good season. Dont expect more than 35/10 and you wont be dissapointed. If you're making the trade based on 45/6 you are setting yourself up for disaster.
Foster only played 13 games last year. Even if he has a tendency to get hurt you cant make that a part of your projections, so expect better numbers from him this year. The 1616 yards and 16 TDs of 2010 is probably closer to his value than the 1224/10 last year.
Looking at your scoring settings I would increase Fosters points with about 40% to 140 and reduce Rodgers' with about 20% to 200.
Also, it is impossible to evaluate trades without all the information. If you're already starting Drew Brees and have to replace Foster with Shonn Greene this is a big loss etc.

thanks for the reply.
judging by the adjusted results you mentioned, rodgers is still going to get 60 more fantasy points than foster. 60! that is a ton.
and i mean welker is likely to crush brown by 20-30 which is a lot at the wr position. probably 50% increase or so.
the trade feels so right to me. i wish i was more aware of the settings when i drafted. i got Foster #1 overall, because he seemed to be the clear favorite.
i'd consider getting brady or brees + a wr from the managers that own them, but they seem a little more savvy. may still be a possibility. also their wr's aren't as good as welker.
another option is romo+cruz.
btw, we are a 2qb league, and right now I have Eli Manning, Roethlisberger, and Dalton.
Since last year's loss to the Chiefs, Rodgers performance has declined. The Chiefs showed the blueprint how to slow down the Pack. You run a 2-deep zone taking away the big plays and leaving the underneath open. And now with Jennings out things should get even more challenging (unless you feel Cobb or Jones is going to fill the void). Plus, we all know that Finley is an injury waiting to happen. All of this was laid out in an article I read this past week by someone from ESPN but I couldn't find it to post here.
So I would temper my expectations for Rodgers and realize that he will not approach last year's production.
Are any of these options better?
Brees + Jones-Drew/Lynch/Harvin/D. Bryant (one of them)
Brady + Greg Jennings
Newton + Welker (same GM has Rodgers and Newton) Colston also option instead of Welker
Stafford or Matt Ryan + J. Nelson
This!
Brees and MJD are both 1st round picks.
Don't forget that MJD ran for 1600+ yards last year and would have been top-5 this year if not for his holdout. Plus, he looked pretty good last week after missing the entire preseason. And Brees will be a top-3 QB this year.
trying to sort through it all here...
So the options are running with (matchup play where I put up more than one name)
NOW:
QB1 Eli, QB2 BigBen/Dalton, RB1 Foster, RB2 ?, WR1 Brown, WR2 ?
Option 1:
QB1 Rodgers, QB2 Eli/BigBen/Dalton, RB1 ?, RB2 ?, WR1 Welker, WR2 ?
Option 2:
QB1 Brees, QB2 Eli/BigBen/Dalton, RB1 MJD, RB2 ?, WR1 ?, WR2 ?
What I am trying to say is that your posts are lacking ALOT of important information. Give us ALL your players including your bench and ALL of the important information like scoring, how many players you start etc.
