Who to Trade...
I have a very good problem to have but one I must figure out what I want to do.
QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, K, DEF
My roster:
QB: Schaub, Flacco
RB: McCoy, Matthews, Martin, Spiller, Mendenhall, Pead
WR: A. Johnson, S. Johnson, Blackman, Rice, Britt
TE: Finley
K: Kaeding
DEF: NYJ
As you can see I have 4 top end RB's now (with Spiller taking over - not to mention Mendenhall coming closer to return) but I can only start 3.
Who would you look to trade out of that group?
Keep in mind this is a keep 4 league at their draft position
McCoy: 1st
Matthews: 2nd
Martin: 4th
Spiller: 9th

I'm thinking Matthews'pre-rank as well as his importance to SD may net you the WR you&'re looking for. I don't see a lot of appeal with Martin because he's a rookie. Mendy, like Matthews, is coming off of injury, but he's not ranked as high, so try Matthews.Originally Posted by 3rtpaper

I too would probably shop Mathews.. especially because you'll need the second round pick next year. Otherwise your top two picks will be in the 3rd and 5th rounds (ouch).
If you are looking for someone elite in the deal, then you'll need to trade one of Mathews/McCoy.
I may wait until he comes back to make the deal though. SD's offense looked pretty shaky so they are going to lean on him pretty heavily. Cash in once he puts up a 20 point week. Until then, all of your trade partners will be leary of taking him on.
