Semi-retired
I'm a little surprised you're not deeper at WR
I think pushing Maclin to WR2 and considering Blackmon your Flex - along with Wilson and Rogers.
If it were me, in a 10 team league I think boom or bust - I can always go to waivers and find someone of Jefferey's quality and probably David Wilson and Greg Olsen, too.
Like the others, I try to trade one of your defenses (doesn't matter which, really - but I'd try to keep San Fran - both are top 5)
What's available on FA? I'd drop Jefferey, Olsen, Wilson, trade a defense and pick up at least one more solid WR to rotate into flex. Blackmon is a rookie in a volatile offense - I'd rather have a more reliable flex than him and use Blackmon later in the year as his rapport with Gabbert develops a bit.
Thanks for the reply.
This is is a money league with some witty minds, so you can't play musical chairs with the ww or you get burned. There are some WR options out there, but they don'y have as clear a path as say Jefferey who should see singke coverage with Marshall getting doubled, or at least that's what I am banking on to happen as he's been a friggin monster with Cutler. I know Blackmon is a rookie. My thinking with him is, who else will be catching the ball?
Blackmon and Maclin can be interchanged, depending upon matchups with Wilson and Rodgers. It's more of a formality than those players being etched in stone as I listed them. At times, Olsen may even be rotated there. Hell, he may have a better year than Pettigrew who may be the 3rd option in that offense with Young and Burleson.
I hear you on the D. I mainly have two because i've found through experience, even the best D has injuries or off weeks. I just enjoy having roster flexibility. I've found thag it has helped with matchups over the years.
Rep to you. :-)

Thanks for replying. Yeah, I know I stacked up on D. I intentionally did that and wasn't overly concerned about WR b/c the position is so deep. Someone always emerges... See: Torre Smith. I may trade a D, but we'll see. Some teams will likely approach as they are hurting at D. If they blow me away, then I will deal. Thanks for taking the time. Rep your way.

Yeah, WR looks to be your weakest area, but overall it's a solid team. 9ners are ranked higher, but Pit is going against a team I'd rather go against at least this week. So should be a solid week for you.
I'd see if you can get a better 2nd QB at least for the BYE week ahead.

Yeah, I have Pit against Den. 9ers vs GB = ouch. My whole deal is roster flexibiilty and matchups. I shot for a balanced roster. I'm also thinking of playoff starters: Wilson and Rodgers is what i'm hoping. Worse case I can scoop someone like Pead later.
Funny you say that about a backup QB. In Cam's bye week, Wilson plays NE. I think he lights them up. I considered Locker, who has better weapons, but he plays Pit = ouch!
Thanks for the input T! I'll rep you too.

If I am to be totally honest this is one of the weaker 10 team league squads I've seen... Charles is a second-tier RB1 (Murray is the better of the two, not sure which order you drafted them in, assuming it had to have been Murray first) and your WRs are really weak. I know you say that you held off on WR because of the depth, but you don't really have much depth there at all, so I'm not sure I get what you mean. I would be disappointed with those WRs in a 14 team league. Your RB3 and RB4 are pretty poor for a 10 team league, surprised you didn't take Hillis considering you have Charles.
But, you have solid TEs, a lot of strength at D (which I see you consider very important but I disagree; in all of my years of fantasy football D has never been a gamebreaker), and you could easily have a top 3 Qb and a top 3 WR in Newton and Green. Also, Murray has the potential to put up a huge season. Not a total miss on this squad, but I don't think you have much of a shot at finishing in the top half of the league.
Sorry :/ just being honest... play the waiver wire well and you could be in a lot better shape!
