I thought it was still 25 games.
Anyone know if goalies follow the same rules as skaters in order to qualify as a rookie?
If not, what\'s the rule for a goalie to lose their rookie status?
I thought it was still 25 games.

That\'s what I said - still 25 games. I found it on Wiki, actually.
Why wouldn\'t Howard be a rookie? What\'s he played, like 10 games?

It\'s definitely 25 games.
That\'s why Jamie Storr was able to make back to back all-rookie teams, because of the number of games it takes for a goalie to no longer be a rookie.
On a side note the 1986/7 LA Kings hold the record for most players on an all-rookie team with 3 (Steve Duchesne, Luc Robitaille and Jimmy Carson). According to Wikipedia.
