i got offered his Briere and Rolston for my Campbell and Stastny. Not really close.

    I offered:
    1. Campbell, Stastny, Bouchard and Ersberg for Lehtonen, Briere and Rolston
    2. Campbell, Stastny and Bouchard for Briere, Rolston and Perry or Parise

I like 1 cause I think I can flip Lehtonen during the off-season in a deal to get Vinny. But I think option 2 is the better deal in whole.

    My questions:

    1. Are either good for me?
    2. Would you accept if you were him?

I like deal #2. The reason being is I like to have the players for sure instead of having to worry about \"flipping\" them in the offseason. The difference is really Perry or Lehtonen. I think you would agree that not really close. Just my opinion

    ok my final offer was

My Gomez, Boyes, Campbell and Ersberg + 6th and 10th Rd picks

    for

    His Briere, Rolston and Lehtonen

I didnt think I was getting enough value for Stastny so I tried Gomez at the end instead.

    Fair offer for him?

Done deal as above. I think I scored big.

i dont like that deal at all. heres why: gomez has been great ever since that awful start, and anything less then a ppg from here out is unrealistic imo. briere has been underachieving all year, philly is starting to lose it, and campbell just got dealt to a contender where he\'ll qb a PP with plenty of firepower.

lehtonen is a good goalie on a bad team. sure he\'s got potential, but i think his band aid boy status and lousy team cancel that all out.

boyes hasnt really done much lately anyways, so i dont think you lost much there because i think rolston will out produce him from here out anyways.

    basically, rolston>boyes, gomez>briere, and campbell+>>lehtonen.

i just dont really understand this deal for you. maybe i\'m missing something...

also, i forgot to mention that i think deal 2 woulda been your best option.

At the end option 2 was off the table. He wasnt willing to move Perry.

The main part about your deal that I like is that you got what you wanted without parting with Stasny, I think that you weren\'t going to get enough value for him so being able to switch that up for Gomez and Boyes. Looking at your keeper situation you weren\'t going to keep Campbell (nor would you keep Gomez or Boyes so it\'s not like you lost anything really) anyways so this way you get a couple of good trading chips for the offseason as you mentioned and you get to keep Stasny instead of keeping Briere, which is what you may have had to do had you taken deal #1 originally.

If I was the other team I would have made deal #2 if Campbell can re-sign with the Sharks I can see some huge upside for him playing on a fairly lofty offensive team. He\'ll put up 65 to 70 pts. next year. As well, barring injury Stasny should be a lock for 90 - 95 pts. next year. I guess it all depends on what the other team needs as well.

Good job in getting what you want.
