Default Dmen: Who gets the most points next season?

Which of these stud defenseman will finish with the most? Is there another dman in the league who can top them?

I'm sure most will choose Karlsson but I voted Letang..of course that is contingent on his head not getting rocked again.

So hard to predict..... Dmen swing so wildly. I would let someone else pick Karlsson over Parise but if I had to choose it would probably be Karlsson. I will never own him though as he will be drafted way to early for me to be comfortable with. Picking Green 9th overall two years ago still haunts me.......

I'm too lazy to check but when is the last time a d-man won the crown two years in a row? Plus last year everything went fine with the Sens regarding injury. I doubt it happens again. Can Spezza have two back to back healthy seasons?

    I voted Letang

Letang for me for the reasons above. Easy to pick the returning champ, but....

Probably better to do a poll of who will be #2.

Not a lack of respect -- just true that Green's the only guy to repeat in awhile, and that team scored at will. It's not that I don't think Karlsson could do it -- I just wonder if the Sens will be the team to allow it. Letang has an edge there. He was on pace for over 65 last year as well.

Haha, yeah I think people are taking this a bit too personally. Rarely do defensemen manage to repeat at being at the top of the food chain. I actually like Karlsson a lot, but I think Letang is pretty damn good too.

Karlsson is winning the poll anyway.

If anything, Big Buff gets no respect. 65 point pace last year and he has one vote lol.

I voted Karlsson simply because nothing much has changed (Foligno replaced by Latendresse, Kuba by Methot, and Alfie returns which is HUGE) and if anything they've gotten better since last year taking into account the further development of the young kids (Turris, Greening, plus Silfverberg and/or Zibanejad).

That said, I would not be surprised at all if Byfuglien leads the league in D points, with the continued improvement in Winnipeg (Jokinen and Poni signings plus key re-signings of core players). I am shocked that he has only 1 vote so far. After all, adjusting for 82-game pace, Buffy's 66 was 3rd only to Karlsson and Letang (68 pt pace).
