- Philly still believes they're in on Doan.

Absolutely, but expecting B. Schenn, Couturier, and two other pieces is just as ridiculous.
IMO, less ridiculous and almost fair value in my eyes. Voracek, Couturier, and a pick is probably better.
All things being equal I'd agree with you, but given the fact that Weber got offer sheeted, and depending on whether or not they can afford him (and if they can we're not having this conversation), they may be stuck with just four picks. If the Preds don't match and end up with say Meszaros and two or three firsts, is that really that much worse than Meszaros/Read/1st/2nd/3rd? The RFA situation changes this a lot, and now if there's a deal to be made Holmgren has all of the leverage here.
