    Default THN release dates?

Not trying to take away from Dobber and his guide (which is the best by far!!), I was just trying to find out the THN release dates for "ultimate poolers guide" as well as the "Yearbook". We use the Yearbook as a hard copy for players positions.
Again, sorry Dobber if this is a no fly zone, I just figured it was ok since it is where I first found the "Dobber" ad.....and thank god I did!!

not sure about the dates but buying thn and such only makes you appreciate dobber hockey more, as youll quickly see how out of date they get in two weeks.

Yeah I know! It's almost like comparing apples and oranges. I used to buy every different guide on the market so I would have the extra edge (or so I thought...). Now I don't bother....I just purchase Dobber's. I don't have much choice but to buy THN Yearbook. It's our hard copy of the positions....that way it stays the same all year....avoids arguments and keeps things consistant.
Our pool was shut down for trading until July 1....but there are uncertainties of the positions as some change from year to year.....so people are reluctant to trade until they know for sure. The "Pooers Guide" always comes first, followed by the Yearbook sometime in early August. Just looking for release dates so trades can finally go down.

I bought many guides year after year (Dobber's one include), and Dobber is few weeks before. Other guides are available here (East Canada), begining of August.

And yes, Dobber have few updates till october-november, wich is great.

If you want something with substance and something that you can actually enjoy, then Dobber's guide is the one and only fantasy guide you need. But to be honest, I do skim through the other mags at the store just to have a few good laughs at some of their predictions..

Ofcourse Dobber can't be right about every player.. But there is alot more useful info in dobber's guides then just the predicitions..

If your looking to buy a magazine off the shelf I recommend McKeens and/or Forecastor.

IMO the ultimate poolers guide and the Yearbook are probably the worst two.
