Oiler prospects - Schultz vs Yakupov
Just wondering if I could get some thoughts on which of these players is going to be more valuable to the Oilers 3/4/5 years from now.
I imagine Schultz will have the greater immediate impact due to his age (maturity) and the Oilers need for D, but I want to know which will be more valuable from a fantasy standpoint in 3-5 years.
Also, does anyone know what Schultz's contract status will be after his 2 yr deal with the Oilers expires? Will he be an RFA, because this is his entry level deal, or is the fact that he has already been a UFA mean that he will again be a UFA in 2 years time?
I am confident that I will have the opportunity to draft one of these 2 Oiler prospects, and our league uses all the standard categories. I also already have Hall and Klefbom.

Will Schultz be a top 10 dman in the NHL in 4 years? Possibly.
Always go with the forward in this situation in fantasy. In terms of who will be more important to the Oilers I'll go with Schultz but for a fantasy GM it's Yakupov by a large margin.

No brainer to me, Yakupov. I think it would be insane to draft Schultz over Yakupov.
Draft Yakupov, he's the only pick since a couple years who can achieve the 100 pts mark. I don't say Schultz isn't the big deal, he'll probably put 45-55 pts, but you cannot go over Yakupov.
