Thornton and Lecavalier for Savard Briere & Letang

Points Only Keeper League, guy loses Thornton this year and wants to shake things up. I might be giving abit too much but Briere has been sketchy lately and I really want to win this year.

Also a guy like Thornton can always bounce back in a big way, hes having a \"bad\" year and has like 70 pts.

What you guys think? Too much adding Letang, or do I just offer Savard for Thornton as i\'m pretty sure he\'d say yes.

i\'d hold onto letang who will take over for gonchar in the near future with cap issues about to take place.

Thornton > Savard
Briere = Prospal & 3rd just because prospal is playing with briere so there points will be pretty close.

Make the deal but leave letang out of it.

It is Lecavalier guys and not Prospal. Does this change your mind or is it still too much?

I\'m gettig Thornton, Levavalier and his 3rd for Savard, Briere and Letang.

If that deal doesnt go threw what do you guys think of Savard for Thornton?

You said he loses Thornton at the end of the year, do you get to keep him? Not sure I understand... you said you want to win this year, do you think Big Joe and Vinny out score Savard and Briere by enough that you are basically giving away Savard? Not to mention a real nice prospect at D. How long do you get to keep Vinny vs. Savard and Briere?

He loses Thornton but if I acquire him I can resign him for 5 years, so keeping players is not a problem and neither is salary.

Savard and Thornton seem to be close although Thornton has shown many times that 100+ pt seasons are common for him.

and well briere a average 80-85 pt man with a future 50 pt d for vinny seems to be pretty fair.

I offered briere because philly seems to be in a huge drought without richards and gagne and well I just want a guy like lecavalier on my team.

you can replace letang with a handful of 40 point d men. the difference between the forwards is far more than 10 points.

on average I would say thornton and lecavalier 105-110 savard 90-95 briere 85
