    Default A great problem to have!

    I have a bit of a dilemma I have five prospects, and Im only allowed four. So I need to release or trade one, of the five who would you choose. I\'m looking for next year upside.

    Kane
    Giroux
    Berglund
    Oshie
    Hensick

    Hensick looks pretty sure to be up with Colorado next year. Oshie and Berglund are more uncertain when it comes to playing in the NHL next year, although they have higher upside than Hensick.

    If I\'m looking solely at next year, I\'m probably dropping Berglund. If I\'m looking further ahead than that, I\'m dropping Hensick.

    Its between Giroux and Hensick for me...Giroux won\'t fit in well on that Philly team (kinda like Briere isn\'t)...Hensick will always be a 2nd line forward maximum***...Kane is already a bonafide bad ass...Berglund and Oshie will be the go to guys for STL next year...Personally, I like Berglund over Oshie but you can\'t go wrong with either...

    OPf the top of my head I just put a fun little (upside) comparison thingymabob for ya...again, this is just my opinion...quick little analysis anyway.

    Kane=StLouis
    Berglund=Sundin
    Oshie=Drury
    Giroux=Briere
    Hensick=Roy

    Hoooo boy that\'s a good one !

    For next year, keep :

    Kane : no brainer
    Oshie : he was suppose to make the team this year
    Hensick : Hlinka won\'t be there and they will make room for him

    Berglund or Giroux !

    Personnally, I\'ll drop Giroux. Don\'t think he will have a significative impact next year with the Flyers. DOn\'t forget there\'s a VERY BIG step betweenl LHJMQ and the NHL.

    Berglund will begin the year in AHL but will be recall.

    I agree with most of that...

    Kane
    Oshie
    Hensick
    Giroux

    Berglund is a great long term keeper, but I saw Giroux play against Ottawa, almost had 2 goals and didn\'t look out of place at all. He will be on a line with Briere or Richards and will get quality PP time as well. St. Louis has the opportunity to bring Berglund along slowly. They already have Perron and Backes, and Oshie should make the team out of training camp.
    Either way, you can\'t go wrong... all very good pospects.
