What Nhl team had the worse draft year!

2002 Canucks Draft.. Is this the worse draft for an NHL team Ever? they have only had one player play a single Nhl game.. and that game was in the role of a back up goalie.. Thought it would be fun if someone can find a draft that compares to this one..

Yes I do know that Koltsov Is a great talent.. But he is not in the nhl.. and thats what matters..

In terms of quantity vs. quality, the St. Louis Blues have the unofficial record for worst draft.

In 1978, the Blues had 32 draft picks. This means they had a pick every seven picks. While St. Louis ended up with 5 NHLers, only one turned into an impact player (Paul MacLean). Statistically, going 5 for 32 is the same as going 1 for 7 in a modern draft.

Amazing data. Imagine if the Oil hit on 50% of their picks that year, the difference it would have made in the mid to late 90s when they were hopeless? Whoa.
Say Tkachuk, Turek, Conroy, Bondra and Nemchinov...just to be conservative. Those players in the lineup, for nothing. That would change them from bad to playoffs.
