According to FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi, Ryan Vogelsong's two-year deal is worth $8 million.
It's a reasonable rate for the arbitration-eligible 34-year-old right-hander, who revitalized his career last season with a 2.71 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 179 2/3 innings (28 starts). He has secured a spot as the Giants' fourth starter, and should again be a valuable fantasy pitcher in 2012. The deal includes a club option for 2014.

his 2.71 ERA and 1.25 WHIP were a product of the stats above. don't expect anything better than a 3.75 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. sophomore - or in this case, like sixth year senior - slump.
