According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Angels have reached a four-year extension with Howie Kendrick.
No word yet on the financial terms of the deal. Kendrick was entering his final year of arbitration-eligibility, and was due a significant raise from the $3.3 million salary that he earned in 2011. The 28-year-old second baseman posted a solid .285/.338/.464 batting line last season with 18 home runs, 63 RBI and 14 stolen bases. He has also become an elite defensive infielder.
