    Default Prospect help

Does anyone have any info on these prospects?

Jesus Montero (C, NYY), Martin Perez (LHP, TEX), Aaron Hicks (OF, MIN), Miguel Sano (SS, MIN), Zach Lee (RHP, LAD)

16 team league with 10 major keepers and 5 farm keepers. I think I have a solid core and am currently just out of our playoffs in 2nd place in my division. I am looking for prospects who are going to help me win in the next couple of years. How far away are my prospects from making the jump to the bigs?

    Thanks for all the help.

I'll direct you immediately to my favorite prospect site, here are some links to all those players.

    Jesus Montero: http://www.scoutingbook.com/players/p2248
    Martin Perez: http://www.scoutingbook.com/players/p2435
    Aaron Hicks: http://www.scoutingbook.com/players/p2320
    Miguel Sano: http://www.scoutingbook.com/players/p2619
    Zach Lee: http://www.scoutingbook.com/players/p2752

Of this group Montero and Perez are by far the best bets, but just be prepared for Montero to move over to first base in the future rather than be a catcher (mostly because he's terrible at blocking balls behind the plate). Perez is looking like an ace for sure if he continues to make batters miss in the minors, he's a guy the Rangers are very high on according to all my sources.

I hope that helps, feel free to send me a tweet as well if you need anything else.

Thanks, what do you think of Zach Lee? Is he worth holding onto and how long before he makes the Dodgers? Pomeranz along with a couple of other pitchers are still available. Who is the better prospect in your opinion.

Lee still has a while before he will make the Dodgers in my opinion, while Pomeranz is probably a year or two away from making the Indians. Lee is an intriguing teenage arm, but you've got to go with the more polished product in Pomeranz.

Awesome, thanks again. We only have 5 minor keepers this year maybe expanding to 10 next year so I'm trying to grab some potential gems that can help me in the next couple of years. I'm going to keep Montero and Perez for sure and pick up Pomeranz, just not sure about Sano and Hicks, I might just hold onto them too.

Hicks is a guy I'd keep but I don't think Sano is the type that warrants a spot on a farm team like yours.

Do you have any "diamonds in the rough?" The first 60 - 70 prospects in the scoutingbook are already taken in my league and I'm not sure who to target.

Nice.... Thanks. Profar is the only one out of that bunch that I've heard of. Thanks for all the help, now I've got some homework to do.
