I'd probably go Cano here because of positional scarcity.
I own the 1st pick in an 8-team, AL ONLY, 5X5 Rotisserie, Keeper League
Without worrying about budget because I'm only concerned about the 1st round selection, my question is 'Who would you pick?'
My options are as follows:
Robinson Cano - 2B NYY
Adrian Gonzalez - 1B BOS
Neftali Feliz - RP TEX
Justin Morneau - 1B MIN
Jacoby Ellsbury - OF BOS
Thanks for all the help in advance!

Cano or gonzalez. It depends on what you prefer. Do you have a 1B already? I'd lean towards Cano because he's really all by himself at 2B in the AL.
I would avoid Morneau and Ellsbury because they are injury concerns, and Feliz is a closer.
Is this the inaugural draft?
Cano is my choice
Each team can protect 4 players plus a prospect. I can select 4 of the following players:
Shin-soo Choo
Aaron Hill
Carlos Quentin
Elvis Andrus
Carlos Santana
Kurt Suzuki
Austin Jackson
Clay Buchholz
John Danks
Gio Gonzalez
CJ Wilson
I'm leaning towards Santana, Andrus, Choo and Hill (Chris Sale is my prospect) then selecting Cano 1st overall. Am I making the right choices owning the 1st pick in a snake draft when I won't get to pick again until the 17th pick?
Thanks!
Hi there, I'd also go with Santana/Buchholz/Choo/Andrus. But I would pick Adrian Gonzalez instead of Robinson Cano. Gonzalez is going to post even better numbers with the Red Sox. He was hitting in a pitchers park at Petco and now he's hitting in Fenway Park, a very friendly ball park for hitters.

Do you see A-Gon as a long term keeper over Cano? Remember Adrian Gonzalez isn't yet signed to a long-term deal and my league is an AL-Only.
