I know I don\'t want to do this, but what should I counter offer? Other notables on his team are: McCann, Roberts, Braun, Furcal, Pence, Cliff Lee, Ryan and Hanson.

This is the guy that apparently ripped me off in the Wainwright deal, so I\'d like you to help me get him back. (The other manager, not Wainwright).

you don\'t want that deal, decline it.

as for a counter, it\'s hard to figure it out. if you move ARod then you\'d have to rely on Mora or Figgins at 3b? i wouldn\'t like that. it\'s probably best to figure something else out rather than move ARod at all.
you look to need a bit of a pitching boost since Ervin will be hurt off the top and Marcum/McGowan will be most of the season before theyre back. it might be wise to try and target a pitcher, maybe Lee, off this guy. where did you have Lee ranked? how much are you willing to pay?
