You can always find pitching. Top MI\'s don\'t come around every day. Though his trackrecord is short, Ramirez has shown he has the potential.
I\'d take the gample and get the scarcity value.
Long term contract keeper (contracts offset so not an issue)
We use 2B, SS, and MI (Middle Infielder) as positions so they are premium.
My Pitching Staff ,SP\'s, are fairly strong, and quite young.
Billingsley
Price
Kershaw
Joba
Gavin Floyd
w/ Matusz and Crow on the way.
There will be some SP\'s available at auction... Kazmir, Lackey, and some other decent arms...
It seems like a virtual wash in terms of tallent (though I think Joba has the higher risk/reward). Pull the trigger?
Thanks

In late April, Ramirez will qualify at SS. Having players that can hit like Ramirez and play 2B and SS are very rare. I like Joba too, but he seems to have potential to be a band aid boy and there is always the threat of returning to the bullpen.
I would take Ramirez in a heartbeat. I do have a man-crush on him though.
I pulled the trigger on this one... thanks guys!
